Another session of the Scientific Council took place on February 23, 2007. It was devoted to the 2007 Annual Report presented by the Director of the Nencki Institute. The Council also expressed its opinion about the candidate for a position of the Institute's Director. In a secret ballot the Council positively evaluated the candidature of  Prof. Jerzy Duszyński, who was the only applicant for the position.
