The Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences announces a competition for Cytometry Lab Manager

This cytometry core facility will render services to various research units of the Institute as well as other research institutions and businesses.

Position requirements:

• PhD in biology, biophysics, chemistry, physics or medicine
• experience in cell and molecular biology research
• expertise in modern research techniques, especially cytometric analysis documented by papers in journals from the ISI Master Journal List
• team management skills, communication skills, creativity and independence, good organisational skills and experience in obtaining research funding.

The cytometry lab manager will oversee the following equipment:  FACSCalibur System, FACSAria and iCys CompuCyte and therefore is required to have theoretical knowledge and experience in flow cytometry and scanning.
