W. Mozolowski Prize and Polish Cell Biology Society Prize
Michal Mlacki, a PhD student at the Nencki Institute, received two awards at the Second Polish Congress of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, which took place on 5-9 September in Krakow.
For his poster presentation Michał Mlacki received from the Polish Biochemical Society – W. Mozolowski Prize and from the Polish Cell Biology Society – PCBS Prize for the best presentation of a young scientist at the Congress. The title of his award-winning presentation is: “Grainyhead-like 1 (GRHL1) transcription factor in development of skin cancers.” Michał Mlacki is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Signal Transduction, where his academic supervisor is Dr. Tomasz Wilanowski.
