Prof. Jerzy Duszyński decorated with the Knight's Cross ot the Order of Polonia Restituta
On September 13, 2011 during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace, on behalf of the President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, the Head of the Presidential Chancellery Jacek Michałowski awarded Prof. Jerzy Duszyński with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding scientific achievements.
Prof. Duszyński was for many years the director of the Nencki Institute and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. At present, prof. Duszyński performs function of dean of the Division of Biological and Agricultural Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
