Mitochondrion 2011 Conference
Between November 30 and December 3, 2011 a conference entitled Mitochondrion 2011, organised by the Nencki Institute, took place in the Creative Work Centre in Wierzba.
Conference co-organizers were the Bioenergetics Group of the Polish Biochemical Society and the Polish Mitochondrial Network MitoNet.pl. This has already been the third coming together of the Polish bioenergetics community. During the meeting currently running research projects were discussed. Over 40 scientists participated in the conference from the following institutions: the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS; Institute of Genetics and Biotechnology of the University of Warsaw; Medical Centre of Postgraduate Education; International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw; Jagiellonian University; Adam Mickiewicz University; Institute of Physics of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin; University of Life Sciences in Poznan; University of Wroclaw; Medical University of Warsaw; Children’s Memorial Health Institute, Mossakowski Medical Research Centre PAS and Nencki Institute.
Mitochondrion 2011 Conference was coordinated by Joanna Szczepanowska, Jerzy Duszyński and Adam Szewczyk from the Nencki Institute PAS.
