Among 128 laureates of the 1st edition of a project implemented by the Mazovia Province authorities entitled Scientific potential for the economy of Mazovia – scholarships for PhD students, there are two PhD candidates from the Nencki Institute:


- Anna Kajma (Laboratory of Intracellular Ion Channels led by Prof. Adam Szewczyk),
- Magdalena Karetko-Sysa (Laboratory of Molecular Basis of Brain Plasticity led by Prof. Jolanta Skangiel-Kramska).

This project is executed under the Operational Programme Human Capital 2007-2013 and is addressed to PhD students conducting innovative scientific research as part of their PhD thesis in fields considered particularly important to the development of the Mazovia Voivodship.
