It is our great pleasure to announce that Dr Dorota Włoga from the laboratory of Physiology of Cell Movements at the Nencki Institute was awarded a prestigious reward – European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Installation Grant.

The 50 000 EUR a year grant (for a maximum of five years) is intended to enable young, scientist to establish her own research group and launch her own research programmes that will be focused on molecular mechanisms that control assembly and function of motile cilia in Eukaryotic cells.

Apart from the financial support, every awardee can enjoy other advantages of participating in the EMBO Young Investigator Programme, such as: EMBO annual and focus meetings, EMBO mentorship, sponsored lectures at international symposia, sponsored courses for PhD students working in the awardee’s laboratory, and the like.
