Photo exhibition "Fascinations 2013" at the Nencki Institute
The Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Association of Polish Nature Photographers Mazovia District would like to announce the opening of post competition exhibition for the Photographer of the Year “Fascinations 2013”. The vernissage will take place on 16 May at 15:00 in the foyer of the Nencki Institute at Pasteura 3 in Warsaw.

ERA-NET Neuron TBI Epilepsy Grant in the Nencki Institute
The National Centre for Research and Development has granted funding to Prof Leszek Kaczmarek’s research group from the Nencki Institute for a project called “Proteolytic reorganisation of extracellular matrix in abnormal plasticity underlying epilepsy caused by brain trauma” (acronym TBI Epilepsy) under the ERA-NET Neuron II initiative, following favourable opinion of the Interdisciplinary Team of Experts on International Projects.
